HEK TLR Reporter Cells
InvivoGen offers a collection of HEK293-derived TLR (Toll-like receptor) reporter cells designed for rapid, sensitive, and reliable screening of TLR agonists or antagonists. They allow the monitoring of TLR-induced NF-κB and/or IRF signaling.
HEK-Blue™ TLR cells (NF-κB)
- Stable expression of a human or mouse TLR gene
-
Stable expression of an NF-κB/AP1-inducible SEAP (secreted embryonic alkaline phosphatase) reporter gene
HEK-Blue-Lucia™ TLR cells* (NF-κB/IL8)
- Stable expression of a human or mouse TLR gene
- Stable expression of an NF-κB/AP1-inducible SEAP (secreted embryonic alkaline phosphatase) reporter gene
- Stable expression of the Lucia luciferase reporter gene under the control of the endogenous IL-8 promoter (responsive to NF-κB)
- No activity of TLR3, TLR5, and TNFR (Tumor Necrosis Factor receptor) due to verified knockout of these three receptors
*Note: these cells were formerly named HEK-Dual™ TLR (NF/IL8) cells.
HEK-Dual™ TLR cells (NF-κB/IRF)
- Stable expression of a human TLR gene
- Stable expression of an NF-κB/AP1-inducible SEAP (secreted embryonic alkaline phosphatase) reporter gene
- Stable expression of an IRF-inducible Lucia luciferase reporter gene
The activity of the reporter proteins, SEAP and Lucia luciferase, can be conveniently assayed in the cell supernatants using the SEAP detection reagents, QUANTI-Blue™ Solution or HEK-Blue™ Detection, and the Lucia luciferase detection reagent, QUANTI-Luc™ 4 Lucia/Gaussia.
