Interferon Inhibitors
Inhibition of interferon signaling
Recombinant viral proteins for type I and type II interferon inhibition
Explore InvivoGen's high-purity, carrier-free proteins for the neutralization of type I and type II interferon signaling.
InvivoGen offers two powerful tools for investigating interferon signaling pathways:
Both are InvitroFit™ grade recombinant proteins and produced in CHO cells to ensure proper glycosylation and structural integrity. These proteins are functionally validated using proprietary cell lines. They are guaranteed free of endotoxins and other contaminants and provided carrier-free for optimal performance in sensitive applications.
Key features
- Proven efficacy in blocking IFN activity in cellular assays
- Provided carrier-free and His-tagged
- InvitroFit™ grade: each lot is highly pure (≥95%) and functionally tested.
Both B18R and B8R are viral decoy receptors encoded by the vaccinia virus, each targeting a distinct interferon pathway. B18R binds and neutralizes type I interferons (e.g., IFN-α/β) across multiple species, preventing antiviral responses and enhancing mRNA transfection efficiency. B8R blocks interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) signaling, suppressing immune activation and enabling studies in immune evasion, cancer immunotherapy, and IFN-γ-related toxicities. Both are powerful tools for dissecting interferon biology and modulating immune responses in vitro.
