Cytokine Reporter Cells

Reporter cell lines combining cytokine receptors and inducible reporters for activity screening

Reporter cell lines combining cytokine receptors and inducible reporters for activity screening

Cytokines are biologically active molecules, therefore their characterization cannot rely on physicochemical methods alone. InvivoGen's expanding collection of cytokine reporter cells is designed to provide a simple, rapid, and reliable method to monitor the activation of signaling pathways induced by key cytokines. These reporter cells enable the detection of biologically active cytokines and can also be used to screen compounds exhibiting agonist or antagonist activities.

InvivoGen's cytokine reporter cells are derived from human embryonic kidney (HEK293) or mouse B16 melanoma cell lines. They express an inducible secreted embryonic alkaline phosphatase (SEAP) reporter that can be detected using QUANTI-Blue™ Solution.
