CpG-free GFP::Bsr

Synthetic reporter / resistance fusion gene in expression plasmid

ABOUT

Synthetic reporter / resistance fusion gene in expression plasmid

GFP::Bsr is a fusion gene that encodes a red-shifted variant of the jellyfish green fluorescent protein (GFP) and resistance to Blasticidin S.

Expression of GFP::Bsr can be detected by fluorescent microscopy or flow cytometry. This fusion protein absorbs blue light (major peak at 480 nm) and emits green light (major peak at 505 nm).

The CpG-free GFP::Bsr fusion gene is provided in the expression plasmid pSelect-zeo which is selectable with Zeocin™ in both mammalian and E.coli cells.

To facilitate subcloning, the GFP::Bsr gene is flanked by two unique restriction sites.

All products are for research use only, and not for human or veterinary use.
