Anti-β-Gal-rIgG2a
InvivoGen provides a collection of isotype control monoclonal antibodies (mAb) designed to help differentiate non-specific background from specific antibody signal. In general, isotype controls should match the primary antibody's host, isotype and subclass, method of production, and working concentration.
Rat IgG2a mAb isotype control (clone C1-2A7) comprises the variable region targeting E.coli anti-β-galactosidase (β-Gal). Therefore, it does not react with rat proteins. It was obtained from a rat immunized with DNA encoding for β-Gal.
Anti-β-Gal-rIgG2a was produced in hybridoma cells and purified by affinity chromatography.
