293/hTLR-HA cells were obtained by stably transfecting HEK293 cells with a pUNO-TLR-HA plasmid. pUNO-TLR-HA plasmids express TLR genes that have been fused at the 3’end to the influenza hemaglutinine (HA) tag.
Addition of the HA-tag has no deleterious effect on the expression and function of the TLR genes. The HA tag is the epitope of anti-HA tag, a very efficient and specific monoclonal antibody. All human TLR genes can be detected using the same primary antibody.
