Transfection Reagents

InvivoGen‘s transfection reagents are designed to provide fast, easy and reliable introduction of plasmid DNA into mammalian cells. They combine consistent and highly efficient transfection of a wide variety of cell types with exceptionally low cytotoxicity.
InvivoGen offers two versatile lipid-based transfection reagents, LyoVec™ and LipoGen™. Both reagents feature optimized cationic phosphonolipids described as efficient transfection reagents. Their positive charge enables them to bind to DNA to produce condensed lipid/DNA complexes, and their phospholipid-like structure promotes fusion with cellular membranes for efficient DNA delivery.

LyoVec™

Transfection reagent LyoVec iconLyoVec™ is the first lyophilized cationic lipid-based transfection reagent. Its new formulation makes it very easy and convenient to use.

LipoGen™

Transfection reagent LipoGen iconLipoGen™ is a transfection reagent consisting of a unique lipidic component that combines in its structure the characteristics of both a cationic lipid and a fusogenic lipid. LipoGen™ is simple and rapid to use, and allows to achieve high levels of transfection in a large variety of cells.

LyoVec™/LipoGen™ Sample Kit

LyoVec/LipoGen sample kit iconLyoVec™ and LipoGen™ offer distinct advantages and may transfect various cell lines with different efficiencies. Therefore, InvivoGen provides a transfection sample kit as a cost-effective solution to compare LyoVec™ and LipoGen™. This kit will enable you to choose the best transfection reagent for your cell line.
