HA-tagged DN TLR
Dominant negative forms of TLR genes were created by inserting a mutation within the gene and/or deleting a region of the gene. These modifications have been described elsewhere and shown to block the wild-type form of these genes. Moreover, these genes contain at their 3‘ end the influenza hemaglutinine (HA) tag. This tag allows for efficient and specific detection of the genes by Western blot using the anti-HA tag antibody.

Description
pZERO-TLR-HA plasmids carry the Pac resistance gene, that confers resistance to puromycin, for amplification in E. coli and selection in mammalian cells.
Contents
Each pZERO-TLR-HA plasmid is provided as a lyophilized transformed E. coli strain on a paper disk. Transformed strains are shipped at room temperature and should be stored at -20°C. Lyophilized E. coli cells are stable for at least 1 year when properly stored.

Anti-HA Antibody
The monoclonal antibody Anti-HAtag recognizes the influenza hemagglutinin epitope (YPYDVPDYA) which has been used extensively as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. The specificity of this antibody allows for unambiguous identification of the tagged protein. Anti-HAtag can be used for detection of HA-tagged proteins by Western Blot or immunoprecipitation.
