Mycoplasma Detection & Elimination
Mycoplasma contamination remains a significant problem to the culture of mammalian cells. The detection of Mycoplasma should be an established method in every cell culture laboratory. InvivoGen provides PlasmoTest™, a Mycoplasma detection kit based on a brand new technology. Furthermore, InvivoGen offers a choice of antimicrobial solutions designed to eliminate and prevent Mycoplasma contaminations. Some are also active against bacteria and/or fungi.

"E. coli Growth and Selection" includes two E. coli strains specifically designed to be used with InvivoGen's plasmids and made chemically competent, Fast-Media™, a collection of ready-made E. coli selection media, and selective antibiotics.
InvivoGen‘s transfection reagents are designed to provide fast, easy and reliable introduction of plasmid DNA into mammalian cells. They combine consistent and highly efficient transfection of a wide variety of cell types with exceptionally low cytotoxicity. InvivoGen offers two versatile lipid-based transfection reagents, LyoVec™ and LipoGen™.
InvivoGen provides two types of reporter detection kits:
- LacZ detection kits provide simple and convenient methods for the visual detection of LacZ expression within cells or tissues.
- Alkaline phosphatase detection kits provides a rapid and convenient method to determine the levels of SEAP in the culture medium of transfected cells expressing the seap gene.
